Even if you have a premium subscription on this platform, you still have to pay a fee if you care about accessing it. The rates vary according to the number of receipts you wish to buy. 2. 5 read receipts are valued at $15
3. 10 are for $20
4. 20 read receipts are worth $30

You can access them by opening a match conversation and clicking on the “get read receipts” option in the chat. You can then decide how many receipts you want to buy.

The downside to read receipts on Tinder

Even if you’ve bought read receipts, if the recipient has disabled them at their end, you won’t be able to see if they’ve read your message. You can easily enable or disable this feature by going on the profile tab, clicking on “settings”, from there choosing “manage read receipts”, and then tapping on the “send read receipts” option to turn them on or off. 

Another downside is that these receipts will only be available for the particular chat you activate them in. This means that no matter how many you buy, you’ll be consuming them all in that particular chat. 

Are they beneficial

It’s all about how accustomed you are to them on other social media platforms. For many, read receipts allow them to be sure that their messages have been read by the other person even if they don’t respond. However, considering that the receiver can deactivate them at will, any read receipts bought could be wasted.  

In addition, read receipts don’t increase the likelihood of finding a perfect match. You may feel neglected if your crush sees your message but doesn’t respond. There are many reasons why people don’t respond, some of which include technical problems, a busy life, or even indifference. 

If you want to get a match, you might instead want to invest in a boost feature to make your profile outshine the rest and more easily accessible. 

While read receipts may seem important if you are curious to know whether the other person has read your message, they’re more a waste of money than anything else. You can instead develop a little bit of patience and check back in a few days to see if you’ve got a response.
